This weekend we had the art opening for the show containing the paintings my students have made with me during my teaching placements. It was called, "Ghana @ 50: A Painting Exhibition" and it was held in a nice space above a local photography studio. A bunch of the kids came (including my good little friend Patrick from Adeiso) and I think we had a pretty good turnout since a good number of Junior Art Club supporters come by. We played high life music and even had refreshments on the patio--everyone had a good time!
And yes, I spent St. Patty's day at my beloved Irish Pub. I think every obruni in Accra was there!
