28. Nima: Teachin' and batikn'

March 16, 2007

Over the past week I was working with a group of students over at a catholic school in Nima, which is the home of the biggest-I-don't-even-know-how-big-it-is slum in Accra. So here are some pictures! There's me in the classroom, and then one of my students and works in progress. (Hmm, looking at this first one I guess I haven't lost all my silly...)

Next here are a few pictures I've taken at the batik studio this week. Everything about the process is so picturesque, so I'm sure I'll take a slew more pictures next week as well.
